Does anyone have experience with arm weakness and numbness after cardiac surgery , its treatment and recovery?

I have numbness, tingling and weakness in my left arm 6 weeks after cardiac surgery. Mostly affecting my third and forth fingers and the side of my hand.

I would most def call your doctor. This isnt normal and should be looked at. Any signs like that could mean a heart attack. Dont put it off. I would take an asprin every day untill you are able to get to a doctor.Good luck!

I Had Open heart Surgery on Sept 12 and I am having the same problem with are weaknessand numbness on my last two fingers. I ask the Surgeon and he said its Temporary . I not sure that's why I am on-line trying to research it please let me know if you find any more information
