Does anyone know of a doctor who has had excellent success treating Crohn's Disease? |
My mother has Crohn's Disease. She hasn't been in remission one single day for 18 years. It's like she's been beaten down by this disease. Her doctor does little for her, and she believes she'll never live a normal life again. I don't think it needs to be that way. Does anyone know of a doctor or treatment that's been tremendously successful? Crohn's runs in my family. My mother (for 18 years), her brother (for 3 years) and her neice (for 10 years - my mother insisted they run crohn's tests on my cousin and saved her life because of this) all have crohn's. My family is suffering and I want to help them. Hi love, i'm a female w/ crohn's disease dxed at the age of 12. If your mom doesn't like her GI then she can fire him and find someone else. I don't know where you live so go to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America site & click on chapters & events. There you can find a local support group and attend a meeting and ask other ppl w/Crohn's who they go to. I belong to the local chapter near me and we have doctors who attend some of these meetings so give it a try. you have nothing to loose. Hi i also have a form of IBD i have ulcerative colitis in fact this weekend there was a CCFA conference here is utah. look i wish i had a doctor to refer her to but sometimes talking to someone is good therapy too. there are some great websites, and informational phone numbers there is also support sites, and what i am thinking is that you could probably find someone on those websites to help you find a great doctor. Yes. Dr. Jordan Rubin N.M.D., Ph.D., C.N.C. had it. He lives in Florida. Probiotics (good bacteria) helped him. Homeostatic soil organisms (HSOs) reversed the degenerative process of his Crohn's disease. The HSOs detoxified Jordan's intestinal tract, increased his ability to absorb nutrients from food, and boosted his immune system. |
