Need explanation from a chest x-ray?

I went to see the doc for immigration medical check up. Initially checked for TB but couldn't find anything. The findings however said the following: Cardiac: Borderline. Vasculature: Increased. Lungs: well ventilated and clear. Small bulateral granulomas. The conclusion stated the following: Vascular congestion. No acute infiltrate seen. REmote granulomatous changeson the left and right.
Can somebody help me what that means. I'm 22, smoke and have a medical history of heart disease. Would that explain the finding. The doctor didn't mention anything about it.

Thanks for your help.

You're fine. Somewhat unhealthy, but fine. The granulomas are probably from congestion (are you sick) or from smoking...oh, and they are precursors to cancer!! woot woot. but thats a few year down the line most likely. Cardiac borderline simply notes your heart disease, probably a murmur or enlargement of the heart. Stop smoking, do light exercise, eat right and you'll live longer. But relax, you're fine for now.

you need to quit smoking too. Report It

Sounds like it.

Ask your doctor for an interpretation in layman's terms, not medical jargon. It is his job. Don't get your answer from Yahoo. And for god's sake, STOP SMOKING! If you have heart problems, you couldn't possibly have a worse habit.
