What should one do if they have a serious medical condition, but their doctor failed to tell them? |
I found out today that I have CAD {Coranary Artery Disease} a disease in which artery walls harden til blood flow is eventually unable to pass. I did not hear this from my doctor but from a third party who was allowed to access my records {with consent from me} for a general health eval. You have rights as a patient. This includes the right to be informed, and the right to choose your practitioner. If he's not doing his job correctly you can, and should, choose another one who will. uh yeah! thats horrible your doc didnt tell you. i think its time to find a new one. find a lawyer..sue him CAD is a part of aging. Yours might be minor, asymptomatic and nothing to worry you with. If you have blocked artery's you need to do something like change your diet and life style. If you cant trust this Doctor go to another one. They might give you some medication. If you don't you WILL die. My father had to have open heart surgery a 4 bypass. |
