Do i have something else? |
hi hi Go to the Dr. Also, quit smoking...I don't know what is wrong with you, but it sounds like you are going to drive yourself crazy worrying about it...I hope you feel better and all goes well...Good luck! Arnold said It's not a tumor You do not say how much or how long you have smoked, your age, medical history, or what other possible causes you could have for this condition. I would recommend a pulmonary specialist to evaluate your cough...you could have a variety of problems including emphysema, empyema, or some other COPD. You probably have lung cancer, and they will not tell you that, because thay know you can'y afford the treatment. I'm sorry. I will also get it. You cannot trust the system. You have to do what You believe in. smokers cough is a dry cough, it is possible that is upper respiratory drainage, sinuses No its just due to smoking and ur h/aches r probly tension. Sleep apnea could be your answer it places a strain on your heart and messes with your respitory system get a sleep study done. Other wise know as a Polysomnograph. Do you have high blood pressure? High blood pressure can cause these symptoms. Surely you already saw a doctor, since you got a chest x-ray. If you some how got an x-ray without seeing a doctor, I would contact one if I were you. yes. it is probably because you smoke. that's bad for you and you need to quit. Sounds like to me you might have two concurrent conditions: smoker's cough is highly probable and either high blood pressure or hardening of the arteries (or both) may be exacerbating your headaches. maybe you're crazy Sputum/phlegm is a protection to help get rid of something unwanted in your lungs. Have read all your other answers, all good well-meaning advice. What has been left out is environmental factors. Check where you are working, where you are living, for maybe pollution to which you may have an allergic re-action. You don't say how long you have had this but if within the last few months, examine other new factors in your life. Foods, vitamins, change of diet, posture (bad posture can cause problems with breathing) breathing out too much carbon dioxide which the body needs (as well as oxygen). Life style changes, different car? Additions to household (especially male - grin) change of boss, new children...Anything that has changed prior to your noticing symptoms. By the way, you would be told if you had cancer, and they would have done a bronchcoscopie on your lungs (camera) if they were concerned. Go back to the doctor until YOU are satisfied. At the end of the day they are there to serve you, you pay their wages, don't be scared. Don't neglect anything because of fear of what the doctor might say if you keep bothering him/her. and Keep Smiling. You are OK. |
