Cardiac arrest caused by Cardizem toxicity?

Patient with good blood pressure 120/79 heart beat rate 76 prescribed cardizem for non heart related issues. After taking Cardizem for 6 days heartbeat rate drops to 33 enters hospital emergency room and with in minutes goes into cardiac arrest (code blue)
