Is Cardiac arrest death a painful Death? |
My husband who was 35 suddenely died of Cardiac arrest...I was not near him while he had the attack. Did he had a painful death? Yes. It will be very painful, but the pain may not prolong for more duration and death may come very soon. Sudden and severe cardiac arrest, also referred to as sudden cardiac death, is the sudden, unexpected loss of heart function, breathing and consciousness. It's a medical emergency that, if not treated immediately, is fatal. I think so. my frnd all kinda deaths r painful! i'm not very sure. but what i do know is my dad just had a heart attack several days ago. he is a smoker who has smoked for over 40 years. his doctors have warned him not to smoke, but he wouldn't stop. Now, at the age of 14 I am lucky to say that my father is alive. My dad is 56 and I pray for him every day. The message: never think about smoking, you dont just pull your life apart, you pull apart many other lives also. No it is not painful, you just pass out and don't come back, if your asleep you never know what happened. My father died the same way. The pain is likely to last only seconds or minutes at the most before the person passes out. To be honest, it is better than a prolonged death from cancer or other illness of that I am sure. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can tell you that scientifically and medically sudden cardiac death, although no one knows for sure, can be described (as people that have had similar episodes have described) as feeling a little dizzy and then floating out of your body. They generally don't describe any pain. In fact being a physician and dealing with with this, I can tell you I have never seen them suffer. Instead of thinkin how painful da death could be ,u can either blessed u husbands soul by doing some thing for ppl who are suffering from heart dieses and are unable to bear the hospital expenses. If he was asleep, most likely, he never even knew what happened. If he were awake, I would venture to say he felt some shortness of breath, maybe some chest tightness, than passed out and never woke back up. no not necessarily. it could've happened in his sleep. not everyone has horrible crushing chest pain. if he was awake, i'm sure he didn't suffer. hope that reassures you somewhat. sorry to hear that about someone so young. I guess not. Whats painful is angina or a myocardial infartion.. cardiac arrest would mean that the heart ceases to function.. it is usually silent with no symptoms of pain. Do believe that your husband had a peaceful death since the pain is more for the ones who stay behind rather than for the one who passes on. It is said (read it somewhere) that true love eases this last journey that we take... so i guess it wouldnt matter whether you were around or not.. your love would have soothed him at his final moment. God bless and may his soul rest in peace. |
