How do you save yourself from a cardiac arrest? |
How do you save yourself from a cardiac arrest? I have read that if you are alone and think you are having a heart attack then the best thing to do is to repeatedly cough very hard. This acts like a self induced CPR and may keep you alive long enough for help to arrive. Hopefully I'll never have to test the theory myself but this is not a joke, it's really supposed to work. dnt eat fatty foods eat healthy foods then you don't have one exercise start now and get of the pc look after yourself. eat well, don't smoke etc etc You can't save yourself. Only prevent it. take a bayer aspirin product keep calm carrry lots of aspirin around with ya Your question sounded like it was a situation where you felt as if you were having a heart attack right then. I have always heard you take two ASPIRIN (not anything else) to thin your blood, and call 911. If someone is available to stay with you, esp. someone with CPR training, of course that is helpful. Of course to prevent one, eating right, controlling your weight, blood pressure and cholesterol, are important preventatively. They say if you alone and you believe you are going into cardiac arrest. The best thing to do is to do some deep coughing which also help contract the heart muscle like someone is actually doing CPR. I think this is what your question means. Eat Healthily and exercise regularly. If you are still concerned get a job in a hospital too! Stop smoking, don't drink alcohol to excess, get plenty of exercise and eat well. The British Heart Foundation (www.bhf.org.uk) has lots of good information about how to improve your heart health. You can't actually save your self - you will need to be defibbed/shocked. Try an aspirin under your tongue Stop eating animal products, water, diet and exercise. If you are experiencing chest pain and suspect that you are having a heart attack, take an aspirin and call 911.Only a doctor can save you. |
