NSCLC/Squamous Cell Carcinoma treatment? |
My mom was diagnosed last month with NSCLC/Squamous Cell Carcinoma. She is in Stage3.She saw her oncologist this week to go over her treatment plan. It seems pretty aggressive: Radiation every day and chemotherapy 2days/week concurrently for two months, & then chemo alone for an additional 2 to 3 months. While I can't tell you how her liver will react to chemo, I can tell you that they will monitor your Mom very carefully during her treatments...especially with any preexisting conditions. |
