I have just found that I have bronchiolveolar carcinoma?


I quit smoking for a 1yr and 2 months after 56yr cancer of the lung is what i have The name is bronchiolveolar carcinoma. Is there a treatment for me that is comfortable fo a 72 yr old lady. I am scard to death. and live alone.

Your Dr. will work with you however you want to treat this. It will probably start of with a combination of radiation & chemotherapy. Surgery is usually last. Good luck. In spite of all the horror stories we read & hear treating CA is getting better & better. Your dr. may not be able cure you but he can buy you quite a chunk of time.
