Adeno carcinoma confined to the paroid gland & lymph nodes in the neck with no known source any information ?


Any information, prognosis, experiences please let me know

Parotid adenocarcinoma is a rare tumor , that require an aggressive management ( specially when lymphatic system is involved ) .
If all involved sites removes in the first operation and there is no distant metastasis , the patient with lymphatic metastasis like yours , has a survival rate of about 30% for 5 yr (specially when undergo with head and neck chemo-irradiation after surgery ) .

you should visit this. Ask questions of your doctor! I had a different for of lymph node caner. I did well after radiation treatments..I have been cancer free for 6 mo. There will be many tests that you should go through to make sure its not anywhere else.. Good luck to you...I hope this website helps.
