Any cures that i don't know about for End stage Oral Invasive Squamous cell Carcinoma?

My Mother was diagnosed w/ this terminal cancer Dec 5th. She had throat cancer several years ago and underwent radiation therapy 2 get rid of it, which it did. But the radiation therapy i have found out made her Squamous Cell Carcinoma grow. She is a smoker, never been a drinker. She does not want 2 do the Mutilating surgery they suggested which involves cutting out her tounge, larnyx, and the tissue around the left side of her face down 2 the bone. Even then there is only a 68% chance of life and reoccurance. Does anyone out there know of Adult stem cell therapy curing end stage cancer? NOT embryonic. Or has anyone had a loved one diagnosed w/ this end stage Agressive cancer and been cured?? We believe in the healing power of God. We also believe in using the tools out there that God has directed man 2 make and discover. She is only 57. She's always been very selfless and loving 2 everyone. She deserves 2 live. I know if it's her time it just is, but we want 2 try whatever we can.

Deborah: I'm sorry to hear about your mom's tumor. It's not clear to me whether her original tumor returned (since you said she had radiation for throat cancer before) or a new tumor (which could be either from radiation or smoking). Which case is it?

Regardless, it sounds like further radiation may not be possible, which is the usual alternative to major surgery.

If radiation isn't possible and she refuses surgery, there is no proven curative treatment. Stem cell therapy may be available on clinical trials but no drug treatment has proven to have any potential for cure. If your mother wants to try for a curative treatment, she may want to consider a second opinion at a major cancer center known for head&neck cancer. Depending upon where your mom lives, she may not have to travel far for an expert opinion.

I wish your mom the best and hope she can find a curative option with her doctors.

Try with micro immun therapie. It is in germany, maybe it can help...
