What is carcinoma of head pancreas with mestatases?

What is carcinoma of head pancreas with mestatases?

basically cancer at the larger portion of the pancreas where it meets up with the duodenum (small intestine) that has been going long enought to diseminate via lymphatic system (mestastasise) to other organs.
not good.

It is cancer (carcinoma) of that portion of the pancreas that rests against the curve of the duodenum. Areas of the pancreas are referred to by names: the head of the pancreas, the main portion which is the body and the tail of the pancreas. The duodenum is the first part of the small intestine. The stomach empties into the duodenum. The tumor at the pancreatic head is the primary tumor, the first tumor. Metasteses, or mets for short, mean malignant cells have broken away from the main tumor and have migrated and are now showing up and multiplying in other parts of the body. These secondary tumors are not something we want to see. My guess is that you or someone you know may be facing this. Is there anything at all I can do for you?
