I was wondering if any one knows what the long term effects of carbon monoxide poisoning caould be?

My cousin was liveing in a home and got carbon monoxide in her system while pregnant over a year and she is passing out all the time now and haveing alot of trouble just wondered if anyone else has had this happen.

you die

death

Effects of carbon monoxide poisoning can persist for a long time, or even permanently. The people living a few houses down the street from me were all poisoned by CO. They complained of headaches and nausea for a long time.

Passing out could be related to the past exposure. Permanent heart damage sometimes occurs from CO poisoning, and heart damage can cause fainting. But. there are many possible causes for fainting, so it would be good for her to get checked out by a doc.
