Carbon monoxide... could something have happened to a car to make carbon monoxide come out the heat vents? |
My aunt's car was backed into yesterday, and I drove it this morning. After driving for about 20 minutes, I started feeling lightheaded and dizzy, and a headache suddenly came on. A strange feeling came over my entire body and I thought I was going to pass out right then and there. I immediately rolled down the windows and breathed a bunch of fresh air. I started feeling nauseated about five minutes later. Most of the symptoms went away after driving with the windows down the rest of the way. I threw up off and on for a while after I got home and still feel a little sick tonight. That's exactly what it sounds like, if you are still feeling ill, you should go see a doctor because carbon monoxide does not easily leave your system once it gets in. Look in the mirror and if it looks like you are wearing bright red lipstick also on your tongue, then you were exposed to CO. |
