What happens when someone commits suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning?

He did die. I want to know what happens to your body physically when you lay at the end of a tailpipe with the car on and the garage doors shut. This is a possible homicide but ruled suicide till further investigation.

The effects of carbon monoxide in parts per million are listed below:

100 ppm (0.01%) Slight headache in two to three hours
200 ppm (0.02%) Slight headache within two to three hours
400 ppm (0.04%) Frontal headache within one to two hours
800 ppm (0.08%) Dizziness, nausea, and convulsions within 45 minutes. Insensible within two hours.
1,600 ppm (0.16%) Headache, dizziness, and nausea within 20 minutes. Death in less than two hours.
3,200 ppm (0.32%) Headache, dizziness and nausea in five to ten minutes. Death within 30 minutes.
6,400 ppm (0.64%) Headache and dizziness in one to two minutes. Death in less than 20 minutes.
12,800 ppm (1.28%) Death in less than three minutes.

They probably die.

They die of course and risk the chance of eternal unrest .

they get dizzy, probably start vomiting, if they continued afterward they probably would die but most people dont enjoy vomiting so they would probably fail to succeed.

Carbon monoxide is a free radical that binds to the oxygen in your blood, preventing your red blood cells from delivering oxygen to your lungs. you slowly suffocate, going to sleep, then dying. Carbon DIOXIDE is constantly in your system, but since it's bound to another molecule, it doesn't rob you of oxygen.

In early cases: you get headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and progressive impairment of consciousness. Sometimes gastro enteritis. If it is severe poisoning: hyperventillation, hypotension, increased muscle tone, reflexes are hyper, skin cyanosed, deficit oxygen to tissues, , myocardial infarction, pulmonary edema, retinal hemorrhages, papillary edema secondary to cerebral edema. Then death.
