Did My Newspaper Carrier (Job) OR carbon monoxide posioning; read more...?

When i worked as a newspaper carrier; i was told by automobile dealer Repairman-Manager--that My Car possibly gave me carbon-monoxide posioning! and I 've since been diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis! I wonder if that carbon-monoxide poisoning could have caused my P F --if I, in fact, do have it? I think that may have been what could have caused it; but I'm not sure yet - if I had a CORRECT Diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis. //Thanks for any help / comments/ info in this matter.

It's possible if your car's exhaust system wasn't working properly. Carbon monoxide poisoning is bad news too.

My grandmother died of PF. You'd better get a second opinion. The life span is 5 years from diagnosis. The lungs lose the ability to expand well & their elasticity, making it hard to breathe. My grandmother was diagnosed with PF in 2001 & passed away this past Jan 2006. She sounded like she had water in her lungs sometimes & like she was having an asthma attack. Frequent pneumonia can contribute as well. She had them too. She was also a smoker on & off for 40 years, quitting for the last 20 of her life, passing away in her early 70s. She was a child who smoked in the 40s because the servicemen did in the newsclips during WWII.

In the source below is the non-profit website about PF & what it is, causes, etc. There's more information on the site & please read up.

I might get a second opinion. Sometimes cm poisoning is incorrectly diagnosed as PF--and vice versa.
