just started carbohydrate counting for my sons diabetes (type 1 ) there are quite a few carb counting books available. One of the better ones is Atkins. It comes as a pocket size book so is handy to put in purse. really the only thing in Chinese that counts are the noodles and the rice.every thing else is fibre or protein You won't find an accurate list because every Chinese cook uses different ingredients and additives. Just go here and type in the type of Chinese food in the search window.... Be wary of hidden carbs. I have taken plates of "vegetables with a little meat and a tiny bit of rice" and had very high sugar after, ermm kinda hard .. you got to ask them to not put any carb too be honst.. |
