Cannabis harm minimisation?

How can we minimise the harm cannabis does to people?

Consuming it orally can reduce risk to your lungs. Many like to seep it in heated butter or some other fat or oil. The plant material is then strained and discarded. The resulting extract is then used in cooking. Many claim this can get you too high, also as it takes up to 30 minutes to an hour to take effect you might have consumed an above comfortable level before you realized it. I am unaware of any extra dangers to your digestive system, though they could be present.

You can't-----That simple, that easy.

Legalize it, the most harm it does is put innocent people in jail based on a law that was based on hype and not facts.

Legalize. In the US, thousands of non violent drug offenders are doing multiple life sentences, forcing jails to let violent criminals out on parole to eliminate over-crowding. The simple truth of the matter is that jail is much more harmful to an individual than even the largest amounts of marijuana. Legalize it on par with alcohol (21 to buy, no driving, no public consumption, etc.) and most of the harm will be gone.

As for health aspects, vaporization is the way to go

Legalise it. While you may not be able to minimise the effects of cannabis itself, when you put it into perspective, it is much safer than many other "street drugs" such as methamphetemine, heroin, ecstasy, etc.

Legalisation would also have a significant positive effect on the state of the prisons. The way it is now, they have it all backwards, keep the potheads in, let the murderers out.
