Cannabis-does it lower your blood sugar levels? |
I have been a habitual cannabis smoker for 18 years and no all about 'whities' had them and seen them. Is this caused by a lowering of the blood sugar levels? If so is it possible that 18 years of smoking may have caused me to be permanently hypoglycimic? I am smoking virtually nothing now and am eating well yet on a home glucose tester i seem to be constantly under the normal levels. no it doesn't lower blood sugar - you're thinking of alcohol! go to a dr n get a proper glucose test done right away - the sooner you're diagnosed the sooner you can adjust your diet to reduce your hypoglycemia - it (the blood sugar, not the cannabis lol!) won't be doing you any perminant damage just now but ya must be feelin pretty sick n it's v dangerous for you to drive even if ya feel fine. Just get yourself to a doc asap - good luck xxxxx Well after smoking it, don't you go right to the snack drawer? i've been smoking for longer than that, and have no problems with blood sugar...i just had some bloodwork done, and i'm normal I doubt there is a correlation. |
