Cannabis-does it lower your blood sugar levels?

I have been a habitual cannabis smoker for 18 years and no all about 'whities' had them and seen them. Is this caused by a lowering of the blood sugar levels? If so is it possible that 18 years of smoking may have caused me to be permanently hypoglycimic? I am smoking virtually nothing now and am eating well yet on a home glucose tester i seem to be constantly under the normal levels.

no it doesn't lower blood sugar - you're thinking of alcohol! go to a dr n get a proper glucose test done right away - the sooner you're diagnosed the sooner you can adjust your diet to reduce your hypoglycemia - it (the blood sugar, not the cannabis lol!) won't be doing you any perminant damage just now but ya must be feelin pretty sick n it's v dangerous for you to drive even if ya feel fine. Just get yourself to a doc asap - good luck xxxxx

i've been smoking for longer than that, and have no problems with blood sugar...i just had some bloodwork done, and i'm normal

I doubt there is a correlation.
