Smoking cannabis, opens mind, leads to depression.?


I've been smoking cannabis everyday for about 2 years now, and the last few months been smoking around an ounce to 2oz a week, (which I'm pretty sure counts as heavy tokeage.) I've had alot of mad conversations with my house mates about human nature and why people do the things they do. I wonder how, when I can be so upset or angry at any one time, anyone ever lives to be grandparents without going insane. I feel like weed has made me out of touch with people and that When I look at people now, I feel like I can see through social facades and that everyone really is just pathetically going around looking for happiness but we don't even know what will make us happy and everything is irrational. Anyone else thought these thoughts?

People want to do things, why? In my dreams sometimes people reference something called "the feeling" which in my mind they mean this human nature-sad-lonely-girl-boy-insecure-unkn... madness.

Of course these are only parts of life. I don't know.

I eat very well thank you. and I'm a student doing physics at warwick which is why I have all the time in the world to waste. If you are enjoying time, then its not time wasted. I am not. I don't know what I want.

I think I appreciate certain things more than other people. Like the way the sky looks, and girls' hair when they're not had time to put it up. I never talk to people anymore I'm all reclusy. Monkey on my back, that is funny ****. Quit trying to be a philospher? I don't want to believe that all the thoughts I have are meaningless, thats depressing.

If someone spent there entire life doing something very simple and very enjoyable, would that be a life wasted? My housemate told me about some book about a prince on a planet with a single rose or something. mad ****. Or Is productivity and passion the only path to self worth?

perhaps u were high when u posted this question. My suggestions are as follows: try to stop smoking so much, what do u do that gives u all this time to smoke ? focus that free time on something constructive? get outside get moving get some fresh clean air, not only is it good 4 your lungs, it will make u feel refreshed and not depressed ? change your eating habits, all that herbage can cause dangerous munchies ? try these things and if all else fails perhaps some counseling or try rehab, they say that weed is a gateway drug so if you've been in rehab do it again because it usually takes several times to work....but it does !

i'm straight edge, i enjoy my life to the fullest.

so it just proves you don't need to smoke pot
just to "live life"

Cannabis affects your hippocampus. This affects your memory, concentration, motor skills, dexterity, attention span and more. Once brain cells are dead there is no reviving them, making these side effects permanent. I believe that one finds true happiness when they become content with what they have. If you're constantly searching for truth or happiness, you overlook truth and happiness. You can love philosophy without being stoned. There is also evidence that cannabis can lead to mental disorders such as bi polar disorder, depression, anxiety and schizophrenia. It looks like you should do some soul searching and decide if pot is more important to you than your mental health.
