Why does cannabis smoke make you cough more than tobacco smoke? |
Even if you hold the breath for the same amount of time, cannabis makes you cough a lot more than tobacco. Why is that? Someone I know rolls their own cigarettes and still coughs more when they smoke cannabis. Cannabis is unfiltered...and usually much hotter smoke because of holding a flame over it while inhaling (if smoked out of a pipe or bong) THC It has more crud in it that makes you cough. The cough is a signal from your body saying, "Stop killing me already!" Because of all the chemicals they put in tobacco to make it less harsh, good ol' MJ is all natural and naturally your body doesn't like smoke in the first place but if you gone do it might as well do it right. unfiltered and it has MORE chemicals it it than tobacco, not that its more harmful but its true. |
