How long do withdrawel symp-oms from smoking cannabis last? |
i recenly quit smoking cannabis and ive been feeling strange and paranoid and also been suffering chest pains which my dr said can be due to anxiety.ive been off cannabis for 3 weeks now and want to no when i should stop feeling like this. Its all in your head! Stop thinking about it..get your mind on something else! take up a sport read a book..just stop focusing on it! Cannabis itself has very mild to no withdrawal symptoms. What you are feeling is either psychological or you have had a problem with anxiety that you were self treating with the drug. Try going to a doctor to see about a perscription medication to help you with anxiety. Meditation and deep breathing may also help you. No, no. Resist taking pills to counter whatever you're experiencing from quitting pot. Last thing you need to do is replace one substance (pot) with another (pills). The only pills I had to take was sleeping pills, but only for a brief while. The reason being was because I was having horrid nightmares and wasn't getting good sleep. It only lasted a couple of weeks, then it went away. It's going to have to completely exit your system. I stopped about 8 months ago, and it took about a month and a half, its not easy just control the cravings...i'm not trying to quit smoking cigarettes, and its harder than the other!!!!!! i jus dropped "herb" cold turkey but cigarettes are harder!!! but GOOD LUCK!!!!stay strong |
