Which is better for you - cannabis or cigarettes?

Smoking Cannabis or smoking cigarettes?

Cigarettes.
Cannabis rots the mind Tobacco merely destroys the body.

neither

none

I have NO desire for either.

Just cigarettes for me.

cigarettes

both give you cancer but cigarrettes don't make you crazy

Cannabis is better because new research says it helps prevent Alzheimer's .

cannabis

Is it better to stab yourself with a knife or a tent spike??? You're inhaling smoke-cannabis, tobacco or plastic, it's bad for you.

neither . period

none of them b'coz both of them just harm u !!!!!!!

Why would you want to do either? Try breathing fresh air. By acting moderately you can become "happy" - as accomplished human beings and good citizens!

neither, have an apple instead!!xx

D'HO !

cannabis, if you smoke it without tobacco, or even better cook with it, I lived in Holland for 3 years and and can safely say that nights out were much safer than here in the UK as most people took cannabis therefore the drink culture was not there, everyone was relaxed and had fun instead of fighting because of too much booze

Health tests say cannabis is better for some things, cigarettes have no good health abilities and cannabis has no mental help, so the long answer should of been short.....NEITHER....

................... cocaine's............

theres no choice really if you wont to kill your self off then do both and get it over with quick so the rest of us can move on with out the smoke and the idiots that rob to get the cannabis

I'd say the cigarettes.

Technically if you smoke a cigarette, it will have a filter..removing some of the tar and chemicals in it.

If you smoke a "joint", there is no filter so your inhaling more of the tar and chemicals AND the chemicals that are in the cannabis.

AND as we don't know exactly what cannabis contains and what it does (I have seen an increase in schizophrenic type illnesses in people smoking cannabis) you don't know what your are putting into your body.

BUT as both contain nicotine which is a known carcinogenic, I personally wouldn't condone the use of either!!!

Its all a matter of personal opinion:
There is evidence linking cannabis to development of schizophrenia.
There is strong evidence linking smoking to lung cancer, throat cancer, bladder cancer (believe it or not) and many other diseases.
To be honest which one is "better for you" depends on your personal rating of the diseases they cause. One thing - if you cut your cannabis with tobacco then you are opening yourself to both sets of conditions. Ideally endulge in neither - but I was to be pushed into one or the other I would say that Cannabis is better for you.

I prefer brain cells.

CANNABIS

neither, both can and will kill you. One destroys your lungs, one destroys your mind

cigerettes are full of chemicals, unless you roll your own using proper tobacco, so cannabis is better physically. but cannabis makes you paranoid. at least that's what they want me to think.

Neither. But then if you are suffering from AIDS then you might as well try both as pain-killer after you have subcutaneous injection.

It's a bit like saying "which is better for you - getting knocked down by a bus or getting knocked down by a car". In the end you might survive both but then again.....

cigarettes

neither they both give you cancer in the long run and black up your teeth and lips it's better just to cut down or quit with both. also cannabis can change your behavior and make you more aggressive and argumentative and make you think everyone is against you if you do it for a long or short time it's scientifically proven. i would have to say cigarettes

Although both are dangerous, cannabis would get my vote. Used for cancer patients to ease chemo. and good for halting Alzheimer's and benefits to the legally blind. I don't believe they have found ANY medical benefits to cigarettes.

Both can kill you, but in different ways!

Cannabis even tho they are both addictive. The tobacco in the cigarette has over 30 different chemicals
