I cut the inside of my lip with my nail....it bleed and stuff peroxide. Rinse with peroxide a few times a day. You can dilute it also. Sounds like an infection. Try peroxide in a Q-Tip or tissue, at least 4 times a day. OMGosh! I JUST had this. You can read a question I posted about it. I cut the inside of my bottom lip. Everytime I smiled, laughed, ate, talked etc it hurt and re-opened and bled. AND I kept hitting it while I was biting my nails. (bad habit :( ) Anyway, mine took about 2 weeks to heal and there was nothing I could do to help it. I rinsed with peroxide multiple times a day since your mouth is extremely prone to infection. I also used numbing gel (but that wont help it heal) but it helped the pain a bit. The best way for it to heal is to stop reopening the wound by not chewing, not talking and not smiling. and, I know those are all pretty much 3 impossible things but what I did was drink a lot instead of eat and the food I DID eat, i made sure it was easily chewable and not "chewy", I didnt talk much and when I felt I had to smile/laugh, I held my lip so it didnt move. I know it's weird, but its' the only thing that worked for me. I'm so sorry you're going through this. it's so painful and to everyone else they're like "so what? you have a cut in your mouth, get over it....." but i understand what you're going through, best of luck!!!!! this mamaherb site .... do you think it can be trusted ? |
