I got one canker sore, and now my GF doesn鈥檛 want to get near me. What can I do? |
The first time I ever got a canker sore was when I got braces. Every time I went to the dentist to have my braces tighten, I would get a canker sore the days after. I was so scared the first time, I got checked, and the results came out negative. I didn鈥檛 have either herpes simplex which is the type most people have or the genital type. I鈥檝e haven鈥檛 had braces in 4 years, and coincidentally, I haven鈥檛 had a canker sore in 4 years. I went to the dentist last week, and she told me I needed some fillings, I got the fillings. Two days ago I began getting this burning sensation, and yesterday, it happened. I have a canker sore right next to the tooth I had work done. Wikipedia says the physical trauma from dentistry can lead to canker sores. I鈥檝e explained all this to my GF, but she still acts like I have some sort of sexually transmitted disease. What can I do? There is a huge difference between canker sores and cold sore. If it's inside your mouth, then it is a canker sore, which you cannot pass on to your g/f, and they have nothing to do with STD. If there painful you can apply oragel,just make sure you buy the kind for specifically for canker sores, and to help them heal up sooner rinse your mouth with warm salt water 2-3 times a day. Go to the doctor and get checked, but in the mean time if it hurts, go buy some carmex! that really helps with any kind of pain that involves the mouth! LOL...Enlighten your gf that a canker sore doesn't mean herpes. sounds like you need to cheat on her. heee heeee |
