Canker sore inside my mouth??

I have a bad canker sore inside my mouth on my bottom lip. I already tried putting on a medicine called Anbesol on. But it only numbs it for about 1 hour. How do i get rid of this canker sore?

when i had braces, the metal brackets would dig holes into my mouth and i was told to get zilactin. it sealed up the cut and healed more quickly instead of just numbing and rubbing off as soon as it was applied.

when i get them i get a q-tip, wet the end, cover it in salt and apply it directly to the ulcer. it hurts like hell for the first 30 seconds but it does work. do it 2-3 times a day and it will go away quicker.... just a little method i came up with, nothing medically approved

Maybe you could try using listerine a few times a day. It would probably help it fade away , and stop the pain

Try orabase. You have to dry the spot, apply the paste. When the saliva hits it it gels over. It has numbing medication in it also. If you will do this several times daily it will allow the ulcer to heal. Saliva irritates the ulcer, slowing healing.

My doctor uses a silver nitrate stick to seal off really bad canker sores...then they heal up fast....usually if its our regular patient we see all time they will drop by and show the nurse what they have and he will touch it up and not charge them even an office visit.....but then we live in a small, rural area and don't stand on formality around here

One time out of town I called on doctors offices for my job, one told me to buy childrens liquid benadryl and I think it was mylanta or something like that, then swish in your mouth several times a day as you can. I rarely get them so have forgotten about that but maybe someone else will let you know about the 2nd ingredient

grandma's remedy Alum - in the spices at the grocery store. it looks a little like salt big grains... take a grain and put it on the canker sore (it will sting) but it helps amazingly well...it is usually gone by the next day

Someone told me L-Lysine 1000mg everyday when you first noticed the canker sore starts, and take it until it goes away, usually 4-5 days will speed up the recovery. It seems to work for me.

gargle warm salty water three times a day.(or more) mouthwash has ph levels in it. just stick to basic and trialled method. you may be suprised..The mouth has the quickest healing rate of the body. dont go putting pharmaceutical crap in it. salty water will do it everytime.

well i get them and my nephew gets them. We use old fashion salt water. i realized when i went to the beach and came home..........they were gone. Viola! it worked, so that is now my new remedy!

You need to take about a tablespoon of whey and hold it on the sore for a few seconds a couple of times a day. It should go away pretty fast...
