The canker sore on my gums is looking different now. It no longer gets white stuff over it like it used to...?

Is that normal? Before, when I rinsed my mouth with the baking soda and warm water solution, white stuff would form over the sore. The last few days I've been drinking Chamomile tea with a little honey, eating antacid tablets, and about 3 times daily I rinse my mouth out. Last night I put a Canker cover on it. It still hurts a bit, NOT as much as before. Is the sore healing?

I've had the sore since last Saturday. It didn't really form until last Monday, so I've had it about a week. Is this normal as well?

it'll go away over time, just stay away from soda and junk food for a while and brush often and it'll go away

You might possibly have an abscessed jaw. Sometimes cuts get infected on your gums and cause the infection to build up inside your jaw. If its swollen, then its possibly.
If it gets worse, go to the doctor. :)
