HELP!!Sore under my tounge, like canker sore??

I have had a sore throat on one side of my throat for a couple months. I can actually put my finger down my throat and feel a little ball that doesn't exist on the other side, and that's where the soreness is at, nowhere else in my throat. It's like a little lump or something!
I recently, about 2 days ago developed what looks to be a canker sore under my tongue, it's like a canker sore with a white top.

I'm wondering what the answers could be? I have performed oral sex on my EX partner about 2 months ago. I also had sex with him, and have no signs of any types of stds.

I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence and if so, what is that thing in my throat!
However I thought it might be because I sing and I've been told you can get a lump like that from time to time! I am so worried, please help!h

id get it checked out by a doctor who should refer u to an ent(ear nose n throat sergeon) yesterday i got out of hospital. had surgery under my tongue, into a gland because i had a little ball like thing i could feel there. it turned out to be a build up of calcium (stone) was rather large, i had sore throat, swelling or gland when i ate, and just general swelling but yeh go get it checked. i had ultrasounds/cat scans, and xrays n it showed up as bone. good luck
