Canker Sore HELP!!? |
I have a canker sore on my tongue and it really hurts! i tried Oribase and it made it worse. I also tried topcare mouthwash which made it better for 10 minutes. I tried warm salt water and that hurt and didnt do anything. How can i get rid of it or even just get rid of the pain. what are some house hold items i could use? And could it be something else other than a canker sore since the oribase made it worse? Sounds more like a swollen taste bud. Not too much you can do. Just wait it out. Avoid salty and acidic foods as these tend to irritate. Moisten the end of your finger, dip it into baking soda and rub it on the canker sore. you can also rinse your mouth with one tsp baking soda to 1/2 glass of water. Also yogurt helps. Don't do the fruit kind of yogurt as the acid in fruit can burn. Listerine also helps. Just rinse with it. the only thing you can really do is wait it out. the only way to stop it is to not get one and by that you have to learn what causes them and avoid whatever causes it. |
