Canker sore help !!!!?

I was told i have a swollen gland in my gum !!! but i thought it was a canker sore...any advice would help..i haven't gone to the doctor as yet because its not hurting ???

well u should go to a doctor just to make sure it won't turn into something bad. I get canker sores alot and i put this kinda gel on it and it nums it then i will shrink it till its gone. I got it at either Walgreens or Rite Aid. You would be suprised to see what good stuff you can find there! But make sure you go to a doctor just to make sure!

Hon go see your doc, weither it hurts or not, it could be as bad as cancer or something simple as a clog gland.. but either way why sit worrying about it when you can find out... good luck

Well, if it is not hurting that is a good thing. However, any type of swelling in your gums is worth seeing a doc over. Sometimes what appears to be a canker soar, can actually be cancer. This is more common among tabacco users, but is still possible.

If you have insurance, go see the doc...be on the safe side.

If it doesn't hurt it's not a kanka sore, kanka sores are open blisters and can be painful, even if only mildly. If you have a swollen gland, there could be an infection even though there is no pain as of yet, call your doctor and if need be leave a message he will get back to you and tell you yes come in, or no wait for these symptoms.

do this until you can't feel it anymore and mouth goes numb.
that should kill everything in your mouth.

I resently had the same thing and it was a cold sore inside of my mouth. I also thought it was a canker.

Could I recommend that you visit your dentist rather than your doctor.

In my experience, doctors are not very good at treating lumps on gums!

It sounds like one of your teeth has died and this is a leaking fistula. You may require a root treatment or an extraction.

mix 2 teaspoons of water with 2 teaspoons of peroxide...rinse your mouth with 2 twice a day...the canker sore will start going away.
