I have a painful canker sore in the back of my throat, what can be done? |
I have developed a canker sore in the back right side of my throat right where my tonsil used to be many yrs ago.Its all sore and inflamed,I do not have a sore throat or fever, just a big ulcer/canker sore back there, very painful! Ouch! Well the only thing I can think of us rinse your mouth with warm water and salt. Dont try touching or brushing it with a toothbrush, you may cause infection. If it gets bigger or you notice white film around it, see a doctor I had the same problem, went to doctor, and he recommended gargles with a mix of 1 spoon of Benadril and 1 spoon of Mylanta. It helped with pain. Report It Rinse and gargle with warm salt water regularly. It will help. 1. gargle with warm salt water |
