A sore/canker sore on tip of my tounge that wont go away!!?

ive been getting this sore on the tip of my tounge for like 7 years now.. it looks juss like a canker sore and it comes and goes all the time.. and NO it is not a STD because ive been getting it long before i was ever sexually active or even kissed someone..does anybody know what it could be?!?

Oral sores are actually a form of herpes- the non-sexually transmitted kind; Herpes simplex A.
Herpes simplex B is the STI... But, like herpes A, herpes B stays with you for life, it can only be treated when it is exacerbated (flares up). A great many people have it, few actually admit it, but there is nothing medically wrong here, nor were you doing anything wrong to get it- a shared soda with a friend 7 years ago, perhaps, or something equally as innocent. Annoying- yes... Life- threatening-NO!

Abreva is a much used med; or talk to your doctor, for a different prescription...

If cank aid does not help, try holding an anacid tablet on it.
it may be from high acid content and the balance is off. an antiacid will neutralize it.
check your diet, make sure to change your toothbrush every 3 months also.
try chlorseptic sprayed on it, see if that helps.
