Walking stick/cane for tall people? |
My father needs to use a walking stick or cane after a fall last year. He has a good walking stick for day-to-day use, but I'd like to buy him a silver-topped cane for formal occassions. why dont you just add a 3 inch rubber "skid protector" to the bottom of the cane? www.ExquisiteCanes.com carries canes for the big/X-tall upto 44" long with rubber tips. Finding an extra tall cane over 37" tall is possible but it does limit the selection. My Uncle is 6' 7" and I was in the same situation when I was trying to find him a cane for my brothers wedding. I found him a beautiful alpaca cane with a wolfs head on it. I had to pay extra and wait about 10 days to have the cane longer than 37 inches.
