Is it weird to suddenly have a walking cane to school?

I have a fancy walking cane, I love it. It's SO useful in many ways (ie. grabbing things, turning off the light, fending against offenders, supporting me (duh), work like a paddle on a boat except I'm on a office chair, a back massager, chin rest, and so much more...)

My hip and leg and feet doesn't hurt constantly, but whenever it does, I just wish I had a cane with me. Do you think I should bring it with me everywhere just in case?

My parents are absolutely against me having a cane and thinks I'm crazy (damn asian parents!), my mom literally snatched the cane away from me and my feet was hurting before I was going outside to my dentist appointment. Isn't she crazy?!

It may not hurt all of the time, but whenever it does, I should have it at all times with me?

But isn't it weird to have a classmate with a walking cane? (although she doesn't require a cane)... I'm afraid of what others might think of me! Even teachers! But ppl has seen me limping often.

i have a 3rd degree bunion and bone density loss, it hurts like hell for anyone's information.

You really shouldn't take the cane to school if it isn't necessary. Talk to your doctor about the pain you are having.

Go to a doctor to get the limp evaluated. Were you injured? Is the limp psychological?

Your parents are right.. don't take a cane to school.

If your leg really hurts just bring the darn cane who cares what others think. I also have brought a cane to school everyone was looking at me for a while but, then stopped after they got use to it. Only bring the cane if your in a big pain.

i have a rare nervous system disorder. i'm always in pain, but i don't use a cane all the time. i mostly use it if i'm going to be walking alot or in crowded places because it hurts when someone bumps into me.
but, if you are in pain you should see a doctor to find out what's causing it.
