Do you use a walking cane on the injured side or the good side?

Do you use a walking cane on the injured side or the good side?

which ever helps you the most. i use the injured side.

The good side.

For most people, you use it on your dominant side (right side of you're right-handed). However, if you're ambidextric (did i spell that right??!) use it on the injured side for a limp for better support.

usually the bad side
that is if the arm will function all right
the cane is for balance or to hold off some weight from the bad leg
or to feel along & keep you from losing your step

the side you bang your wife with

counter-intuitive,isnt it? u use it on the GOOD side.

You would use it on the injured side to relieve the pressure on your leg from walking..

Absolutely on the injured side. It is uselss on the good side. if both legs are injured use crutches.

the injured side. so you can lean on it.

The side that will take the weight off the bad leg What ever works for you

try both ways and see what is the most comfortable to you
