Can poor hygiene and malnutrition be risk factor of candidiasis of large skinfolds? |
what are the poor hygiene? what are the nutrition that are lack in that patient? what type of food should be encouraged to prevent and to treat candidiasis of large skinfolds? thank you. Poor nutrition isn't as big of factor as poor hygiene and lack of thoroughly cleaning and drying the skin folds. The folds need to be cleaned AND dried to prevent yeast infections. Yogurt intake might help to prevent them if they are being more hygienic. Moist skin on skin predisposes to yeast. Buy some lotrimin cream and put on the affected areas twice a day |
