How is candidiasis diagnosed? and how do you know that you've killed all the yeast?

Candiasis is diagnosed by looking at a swab under a microscope. A physician or health professional will be able to determine the presence of yeast just by looking at the slide. Also, a more naturopathic-based physician can order a blood panel to detect candidiasis in the system. The presence of yeast in the mouth or reproductive tract produces obvious discomfort. If it is systematic, an overall feeling of improved health should assure you that it is gone. Digestion will be more regular, acne prone skin will clear, energy will increase, etc. Yeast feeds off of sugar, so while in treatment, and preferably afterward, abstain from sugary or citrusy foods and refined products like donuts and white breads.

Urine test. Preferably a OB-GYN. No, you don't kill all the yeast because we naturally carry it in our bodies. But I do know that what you consume can aggrevate a yeast infection and it can become bothersome. I would suggest that you eat lots of yogurt or go and get the acidophilous tablets.

yeast, which is found in the vagina in small amounts, can sometimes over produce and cause a thick white discharge and itching.an infection can be diagnosed with a test called a wet prep. a quick swab is taken of the vagina and looked at under a microscope. after treatment the physician may have you return for a repeat of the test to make sure that its back to normal, most times if your symptoms resolve you are cured.
