Is Candidiasis(a fungal infection) harmful to a growing fetus? What are the effects?

Any remedy (the natural way,preferably) for this? Some say feminine wash will do it; some say it's normal during pregnancy. Thanks!

see your ob and take whatever meds they suggest, i dont think its ever good for the baby to be exposed to those infections.

Have you asked the doctor?

Yes it is if you delay in traeting it. You need to go to the doctor and not rely on natural remedies. If the doctor says you can then and only then its ok.

I would definitely treat this, but I would not go to the doctor and get a precription. It is NOT true that only prescribed medications can treat such a condition. What did people use before the "drug age?" They used what God had already given them, of course!

IN THE CASE OF VAGINAL FUNGAL/YEAST INFECTIONS, here are some options:
*** Acidification of the vagina is helpful. Eating yogurt with live culture or taking acidophilus tablets supports the rebalance by lactobacilli. Plain yogurt or acidophilus capsules may also be placed in the vagina twice daily for one to two weeks. (Acidophilus capsules can be found at Walmart or other pharmacies.)
***Garlic has antibacterial effects. Suppositories may be made. CAREFULLY peel the papery skin off of a garlic clove (nicking the garlic surface may cause vaginal burning). Place the clove in a piece of gauze, fold the gauze in half and twist. It will look like a tampon with a tail. Dip in water for ease of insertion. Replace with a fresh clove and gauze every six to twelve hours for seven to ten days.
GARLIC Douche: Blend 1 or 2 cloves of garlic in blender with 1 cup water. Strain and add eough water to make 1 quart of solution. Douche as usual.
APPLE CIDER BATH- Sit in a tub of water with Apple Cider Vinegar poured in it. This one is good, too, for children who get yeast from antibiotics.
