Is there a home test for Candidiasis?

Actually, there is! There are a few things you can look for and use for a pretty accurate self-diagnosis (and I'm sure it goes without saying that you should see a doctor, even though most doctors don't know what they are talking about when it comes to Candida). The first test is kind of gross; but if you spit into a glass of water, and you see the saliva traveling down the water to the bottom of the glass in spears, that is an indication of Candida present in the Saliva. Another symptom are fungal nails, and most of the time people who have Candida's breath will turn sour immediately after eating something sweet.
I hope these help. Candida can be overcome pretty easily if you cut out simple carbohydrates, sugar and dairy, and take some pro-biotics like Acidophilus. You can also eat plain yogurt; it contains helpful pro-biotics that can set your stomach chemistry right again.

You didn't specify if you are male or female and talking about systemic yeast overgrowth or vaginal yeast infections.
There isn't a home test - its generally treated based on the symptoms or else microscopic identification of the organism. There are OTC medications for vaginal yeast infections.
