Both parents had cancer 1 died what r the chances child developing cancer? |
mother had lymphoma twice fathers cancer unknown but he died there was no cantact with the father or his family hence unknown actual cancer. depends. Some cancers rely more heavily on genetics and heredity than others. Like breast cancer runs in families ans does colon and melanoma. But others are brought on by environment and or lifestyle. the chances of the child depends don't smoke, try to get a copy of your Fathers death certificate from there, try to find the hospital at witch he passed away. don't wait around to die........try talking to specialist to see what you can do.to prevent cancer, diet, exercise, did your mothers, mother have the same cancer, any sisters, brothers, there chrildren, grand parents, good luck, and don't give up..... Ask God/Jesus to protect your body from cancer- Simply knowing that both parents had cancer will reduce the risk of it killing a child if that child uses that information as an inducement to eat right, stay in shape, and avoid tobacco. In addition, of course, regular diagnostic tests to catch a cancer early will promote the best chance of a long life. Most cancers, if caught early enough, are now curable. their is a 95% chance because you still have thier blood what type of cancer. how old were they? how are the grantparents of the child? if the child wants they can go to the doctor and see a test for brest cancer. the other thing is just ensure one goes to the docotr every yr for yearly followups |
