When a child/adult has AIDS/HIV, what happens? Does he get crippled? What kind of pain? Cancer? |
I just wanna know what happens to those ppl. With treatment they could survive i guess but without, do they emmediately die or just have AIDS, live their lives, then die early or something? I dunno. ANd, what are all the ways AIDS/HIV can be transmitted other than sexually? A person who is infected may not show active signs of the disease and therefore even without proper medical care could live for years, however it is best if anyone thinks they are infected or conduct themselves which could lead to infection should get tested. There is no cure for aids... to begin. There are drugs that can prolong life, but the person will die very young. Its an immune system disease and you become susceptible to all sorts of health issues.. I am sure cancer is one, but you are more apt to die from the flu or pneumonia or something like that. Aids can be transmitted by any body fluids... Blood, urine, heavy kissing (rarely), and semen. Also IV drug users who share needles pass it from person to person also! AIDS is a syndrome that eventually develops after the HIVirus has destroyed the body's immune system. It is a virus that specifically targets immunity-related cells and makes a person especially predisposed to all kinds of other illnesses. HIV/AIDS is usually a long-term killer. It can be transmitted through sexual activities in which the fluids of one person come in contact with any mucous membrane of another. It can also be transmitted through blood-blood contact. It cannot be transmitted through kissing or touching. transmittance besides sexually: if you have an open cut and some HIV infected blood or body fluid such as semen gets into it, you can potentially get HIV. Chance it low but it can happen since viruses can infect in extremely low concentrations. A person with HIV has a low tolerance for any infections or other viruses because their white blood cell count is very low compared to that of a non-HIV infected individual. Basically a person with HIV can die from the common cold if they are not receiving sufficient medical attention. This is why in poor, urban neighborhood, death rate after infection is such a short time span because they cannot afford the treatments. Notice how long Magic Johnson is living? Has has the money for the treatments to keep him alove and healthy. AIDS is terrible. I do a lot of transcripts on the disease and it's a horrible slow painful way to go. You have to take tons and tons of pills, and in the end, it's a secondary illness that usually gets you. The disease emanciates some people...when they get that skin and bone look. Sadly it's on the rise and continues to climb and people are really stupid who have all kidns of unprotected sex because when you have it, you will never get rid of it and I bet you will wish with all your might you had made better choices. the person's immune system brakes down. they get sick enough to die. some brake out with rashes, lose weight, hair comes out ,get pneumonia, eyesight gets bad and many other things, that why i can't understand people not caring enough about themselves to protect themselves.THERE IS NO CURE FOR AIDS OR HIV wake up people.no one knows for sure what the other person is doing when they're not with you,is it worth staking your life on?are you really ready to die for some minutes of pleasure, that what one should be asking one self. child with aids is prone to infection. and drugs are only use to prolong life. aids can be transmitted through sharing needles, sex, and possibly via the oral route. Though it has not yet been proven that it can be transmitted via the oral route, health officials suggest to take precautionary measures in terms of contact with body fluids. and theres a high possibility of acquiring cancer (kaposi's sarcoma) through aids. Peeps who has it doesnt die quickly. Often times they feel fatigue and in some cases they remain in bed rest to conserve energy. |
