Question about children liver cancer.?

My friend's daughter suffered 4th stage liver cancer at the age of 9 mos. She has gone through Chemo for about a year and 3 mos. However, Now the doctor said that there's no effective medicine that can cure her and advice her to go home.

Are there any alternatives ways to improve her condition?
