Are there any songs about children having cancer. her mom asked me for some so she could help cope. she relies on music for everything. The little girl is 7 yrs old

Theres a song called Skin (Sarah Beth) by Rascal Flatts its about a girl with cancer. How she closes her eyes and pretends she is dancing.

Yes Destiny's Child have a song out for all the cancer kids at St. Jude . It goes if we all stand together this one time then no-one will get left behind, stand up and give praise stand up hear me sing stand up for life. I'm inspired and hope for each and everyday some how I know that things are gonna change So how can I pretend that I don't know whats going on . I love that song. I have cervical cancer, I have been knowing since the age of 16 and now I am 26 and it bothers me a whole lots and I don't have my husbands support , and it hurts me .Today he made me cry telling me that I am always sick and that he have to hurry and get life insurance. I am hurt today and really sad. I am sorry for this long story and song. God bless your 7 yr old.

There are many artist that have songs on cancer or similar topics.
But the best place would be to go to her Dr.'s office and speak with the social worker there. They have a program that artist can make a song spacifically for that child! Any artist from rap, country, rock or gospel. You get to pick the artist. We had one made for my son when he was diagnosed, it helps.

There is a non-profit organization called Songs of Love Foundation that you might consider contacting. You can request a special song to be created for a child or young adult with a life threatening illness.
