Do breast cancer lumps feel hard or soft?

I have read breast cancer lumps are generally hard and things like cysts are soft. Are there any other types of lumps that are benign, but hard?

I have had 2 cysts removed-both felt like marbles.
Could not have been harder! Get to Dr. & if they have to do a needle biopsey it does not hurt! I swear!!

Believe me, I was waiting! I wore a sleep mask, and felt more secure! They covered it with a little band aid. She
(My Dr.) said that is because there is no muscle in breast tissue. She deadened the skin first. Now the noise sounds like a shotgun right in your ear, so be warned! Good luck! Report It

dunno

Like beans in a bean bag .

Do not go by what you have heard. Just go see your Dr. and let them be the ones to educate you. You would be second guessing by other's opinions here. You need a dr's opinion, not the general public's.

Cysts are hard, because the body forms a solid wall around the infection that forms the basis for a cyst.

Tumors are generally soft, but will still feel different from the material around them (in the case of breasts, the normal material is fat).

Look for a spot that feels different.

You need a biopsy to tell for sure, but GENERALLY, cancerous lesions feel firm, like a frozen pea

Go see your doctor, i did after finding lumps, just had a biopsy waiting for the results. i wish you all the best, please dont sit around worrying,

They are really hard like little circular hard rocks.

The only one to allow answer that question should be your dr. The right answer far too important to you. Could well be cyst but knowing the truth as soon as possible could save your life. I spent this past yr. fighting breast cancer& I won. I was told this & I will repeat it to anyone who will listen. Fear kills many more people then breast cancer. The vast majority of women survive the cancer. Finding it early & getting treatment improves your chances big time. So please dear go find out the truth/
