Which is an accurate statement about cancer? choice 1 or 2 and if possible [explanation [thanks?

most cancers are hereditary or many cancers can be prevented thru healthy lifestyle choices or almost all abnormal cells develop into either benign or cancerous tumors ?

I think I already answered this for you.

It's healthy lifestyle. The biggest cause of cancer is smoking--a healthy lifestyle choice is to stop smoking. Some people link cancer to red meat consumption--stop eating red meat. etc. etc.

Some cancers are hereditary, not most.

Not all abnormal cells develop into cancer.

some cancers may carry the risk of being passed on to future generations because of faulty genes, for instance breast cancer, ovarian cancer. However other cancers such as throat and lung, can develop through an unhealthy lifestyle i.e smoking and drinking alcohol. I don`t think that all abnormal cells develop into benign or cancerous tumors, I would need to look further at this to be sure. There are numerous factors regarding cancer its a massive subject.

i would say both. An unhealthy lifestyle, like smoking, inhibits the white cells to kill off the cancer cells because the lungs and esophagus are weakened. I have a cancer that is proved to be passed by heredity. Genetics have pr oven that a mutated gene can cause a person to have cancer. Also, some meds that were given to expectant mothers to avoid miscarriage has caused the infants to have gene defects and later have cancer of any part of the body.
