What's with all these bad things happening?

It seems like these last two weeks for me, so many bad things have been happening. I found out my grandpa had brain cancer, first they said it was benign, then it was extremely aggressive and he only has a short while to live, then I got demoted for a position on my sports team, things happening with friends, my grade dropped dramatically in one of my classes, I get completely forgotten for an award, and the list goes on. I can't understand why all of this is happening to me all at once, I keep to myself, I don't say bad things about other people, I help out when I can. I just don't know.

So sorry to hear about your Grandpa, as well as your other problems. Bad things happen to everyone, but it really stinks when everything piles up at once. Please hang on, things will get better for you. I'm not a really preachy- type person, but I do like the Serenity Prayer: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference. Hope this helps, I'll be thinking about you!

Be strong and hang in there. Maybe this is a test for you to prove you are resilient, stong, have faith in God and are patient. Good things happen in the end to people that can stay strong in hard times. Pray to God for mental strength and hope though this. Do not EVER lose hope in God's mercy and soon better times will pour in!

That you were forgotten for an award..demoted..grades went down..these are all temporary and correctable things. You're young and life will have many joys in store for you. Please look upon tthese current trials gracefully, accept these passing trials in your life. Get out of them stronger, wiser and more humble.

I am sorry to hear about your grandpa. I'd say NEVER lose hope in God for him too...make sure he gets a 2nd, 3rd opinion from doctors at the BEST CANCER CENTER in your state (www.cancer.gov) not from regular oncologists at small clinics, that maybe don't have the experience of the BIG CANCER CENTER oncologists. There are treatments approved all the time..critical trials...do not lose hope. You're taugh, you're human! Pray for him to the Virgin Mary-Healer of Cancer!

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Yes! at times it seems bad things keep happening, & yes I have been throw them myself. You are quiet young I suspect & these disappointments can be overwhelming & painful. My Husband of 39 Yrs. recently passsed away from brain cancer. Very hard on all of us. The day before he died his 13 yr old dog died as well. I battled cancer myself through that time. Seemed pretty overwhelming to me to. This may sound silly but you have to live one day at a time just the best you can & sooner or later things get better. They are for me. We had two grandchildren born through that time. I am a yr. cancer free & am feeling quite well now. & I got myself aa new pup. From the humane society that was just about at the end of the time they could keep him. Nobody wanted him because he had a crippled leg. He got a good home & I got a super dog. Take a closer look & see if some good things have happened too. They could be there, you are just not seeing them. Go on & be yourself & do the best you can & things will improve trust me. If you can talk to a councillor at school & an unload your concerns, that can help too. That too can make your load lighter to carry. Good Luck.
