Has any one else experienced Pre-Mature Ovarian Failure?

I am 33 and the mother of 4 children. In January I got my period and after that I did not get one again. I went to the doctor in June and was told that I had pre-mature ovarian failure and was in early menopause. I might have to start estrogen therapy and am concerned with all of the negative side effects (breast cancer, cervical cancer, etc). What are your thoughts? Are there any alternatives to estrogen therapy?

In a way this is what I had. My ovaries had a lot of issues and I never even knew about it. I'm 31 and facing the same ordeal, early menopause.

I wish I could help with the estrogen question.
