Has anyone else been to morocco and come back with Campylobacter.? |
I went to morocco last november and on return was off work for 2 weeks with an intestinal infection of campylobactor. Believe me this was no laughing matter, with hourly attacks of stomach cramp and toilet visits just to squeeze out 1ml of infected bowel contents. After recovery the infection never seemed to totally go away. In fact, everytime i eat something slightly dodgy i seem to get the infection back, but in a much milder form. Does anyone have any experience of this or any comments......cheers. just off to the loo..... Ahhh... The Moroccans and their love of slighty undercooked chicken.. You don't need to go to Morocco to get it, my sister had it, never been out of the country! |
