Should i be worried about C-dificil my three children have?

I have three boys ages 7, 3, and 8 months. The 3 year old has been diagnosed with C-Dificil and the other two have the symtoms. Should I be worried? What should we do? They were on Antibiotic for colds, and finally campylobacter jejuni.

i was wrong on the antibiotics for colds, it was for ear infections and the campylobacter. we have consulted a doctor on the c-dificil

The antibiotic that was not needed (antibiotics do not treat or help colds in any way) is the cause of the c difficile. The antibiotic that they should not have been taking in the first place killed off all of the good bacteria and allowed the c difficile to take over in their intestines.
It is very important to treat the c difficile because yes, it can be serious. Do not ignore the symptoms of the other two children. There is a special antibiotic they must take now to kill off the c diff. I hope they are better very soon.

To emphasize the answer of the person above me, STOP TAKING ANTIBIOTICS FOR COLDS.
Thank you.

For the real answer, which has already been said: you now have to take a special antibiotic for the C. diff. Go see your doctor.
